Industrial space with heavy floor load
Floor load is the weight a floor can safely carry, usually stated in tonnes per square metre (t/m²). It decides whether racking, machinery, steel stock or dense pallet loads can sit in a hall without damaging the slab.
Why floor load belongs on a listing
A warehouse that looks large enough can still be the wrong space if the slab cannot take the load. CNC machines, transformers, tooling, metal stock and high pallet stacks all concentrate weight. FlexHall asks providers to publish floor load so seekers can filter industrial reality, not only area in m².
Typical industrial slabs might be around 2–5 t/m²; heavy production floors go higher. The right figure depends on the machine footprint and whether loads are static or moving. When in doubt, renters should give the machine weight and contact area, not only a guessed t/m².
What to send in a request
State the heaviest item, its weight, and how it will be placed or moved. Mention forklifts, cranes and whether you need reinforced concrete. Providers can then confirm the slab, not guess from a photograph.
How to search on FlexHall
Open listings and read the floor-load field, or post a request with a minimum floor load. Combine it with ceiling height and crane capacity when you are placing machines, not only stored goods.
