Industrial space with overhead crane
An overhead crane is a lifting system that travels the length of an industrial hall and lifts loads from above. Manufacturers use crane-equipped halls to move machinery, steel, moulds and other heavy pieces that forklifts cannot handle safely.
Why crane capacity is listed on FlexHall
Ordinary commercial-property sites rarely publish crane tonnage. FlexHall does, because a hall without a crane is unusable for many production and assembly jobs, and a 2-tonne crane is not a 10-tonne crane. Listings that have an overhead crane state capacity in tonnes.
Common capacities in industrial halls range from a few tonnes for assembly work to 10 tonnes and above for heavy machinery. Renters should state the heaviest lift, not only the average load, when they request a space.
What renters should provide
When you request crane-equipped space, include the maximum load to lift, whether the crane must cover the whole hall, hook height if you know it, and the dates you need. Also confirm power, floor load and door size — a crane is useless if the machine cannot enter the building.
How to search on FlexHall
Filter listings by overhead crane, or post a space-wanted request that requires crane capacity. Read the listed tonnage on each hall and ask the provider to confirm hook height and whether the crane is shared with other operations.
No matching listings are published yet. Post a request describing the space you need, or check back as providers add capacity.
