Floor load
Floor load (also called floor loading or slab capacity) is the maximum weight a floor can safely support, commonly expressed in tonnes per square metre (t/m²).
How to use the figure
Point loads from machines are not the same as evenly spread pallet loads. When you request space for a heavy machine, give the weight and the footprint. On FlexHall, floor load is a first-class listing field because it is often the constraint that makes a hall unusable.
